Booking & Payment
Here you will find answers to questions about booking, payment and cancellation.
You can easily book your dream holiday home directly through our website.
- Select your travel dates and the number of guests in one of our booking forms. Days marked in green on the calendar are available. Then click on ‘Search’.
- Our system immediately checks availability and shows you the current price for your travel period.
- Follow the further steps in the booking form and click on ‘Available – Book now!’ to complete your binding booking.

For bookings made via our online booking form, a deposit of 20% of the total price is required. The following payment options are available for this deposit:
- Credit card
- PayPal
- SEPA credit transfer
- Purchase on account (bank transfer)
The remaining payment is due in cash upon arrival at the latest. Alternatively, you can transfer the remaining amount to our bank account in advance.
Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot accept debit or credit card payments on site.
Yes, cancellations and rebookings are generally possible. Our cancellation policy applies, which you can find in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
- Free cancellation:
Within 24 hours of completing your booking, but no later than 7 days before the start of your rental period, you can cancel or rebook free of charge.
In the event of withdrawal at any other time, a flat-rate compensation fee shall be payable:
- up to 60 days before the start of the rental period: 20% of the total rental price
- From the 59th to the 31st day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the total rental price
- from the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 90% of the total rent

Immediately after booking, you will receive an automatic booking confirmation by email.
If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us.
The booking confirmation will be sent by the sender ‘wesertraeume@host.smoobu.com’.
Arrival & Stay

Check-in is possible from 3 p.m.
If you would like to arrive earlier, please let us know in advance. We will then check whether early check-in is possible. Please understand that we cannot always guarantee this and often cannot give you an answer until shortly before your arrival.
Yes. About three days before your arrival, you will receive all the information you need for a straightforward, contactless check-in by email – including directions, access codes and important information.
We would also be delighted to welcome you in person during your first few days, if the timing is convenient.

Yes, each holiday home has at least one private parking space directly on the property – free of charge and easily accessible.
Yes, this is generally possible. However, please inform us in advance if additional persons will be travelling with you so that we can:
- can check the maximum occupancy
- prepare the house accordingly
- enter the correct number of persons
For additional guests, there is a surcharge of €15–25 per night, depending on the property.
Important: Unregistered overnight guests will be charged retrospectively in accordance with our terms and conditions. The regular overnight rate for the additional person will be charged, plus a flat-rate compensation fee of €25.00 per person per night for the additional organisational costs incurred.
Visitors who only drop by during the day are of course welcome. Please note, however, that parties and events are not permitted.
Check-out is possible until 10:00 a.m.
We kindly ask you to leave the house in a tidy condition and to take all personal belongings with you. You will automatically receive further information in your check-out information email 1 day before departure.
Facilities & Services

Yes, bed linen and towels are always included in the price – so you can travel relaxed without having to bring loads of extra luggage. We also provide tea towels in the kitchen.
If you require additional laundry during your stay, simply let us know – we will be happy to take care of it.
Yes, of course!
Free Wi-Fi is available in all holiday homes.
Yes, every holiday home has a washing machine and a dishwasher.
In buildings with multiple residential units, the washing machine may be located in a shared utility room.
We have thought of everything for you – so that you feel at home from the very first moment.
Our basic equipment includes at least:
- Bathroom: toilet paper, soap, shower gel, shampoo
- Kitchen: washing-up liquid, dishcloth, coffee filters, coffee powder, spices, oil, selection of teas
- Laundry room: detergent & stain remover
Many of our properties also offer additional amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, make-up removal wipes, sun cream and much more.
What exactly is available varies depending on the property – but you can expect carefully prepared furnishings in every house.

All our holiday homes are equipped with:
- Stove & Oven
- Refrigerator and freezer

- Coffee machine, kettle and toaster
Many properties have additional appliances available – sometimes even more than our guests expect.
Yes, every holiday home has a terrace or barbecue area where you can enjoy a cosy barbecue.
Selected accommodations are also equipped with our popular Ooni pizza ovens – perfect for an Italian evening with crispy pizza, lots of fun and good cheer.
Yes, you can book cots and high chairs on request.
Our baby beds are sturdy wooden cot beds (60×120 cm) and equipped with a high-quality mattress suitable for babies. You will also receive matching bedding and baby bed linen.
We charge a one-time fee of €20 per booking for baby cots.

Depending on your holiday home, you can be at the Weser estuary, where the Weser flows into the North Sea, in just a few minutes. Behind the dyke, there is a beautiful circular trail that runs right along the water – ideal for a walk or a short bike ride with views of the harbour worlds of Bremerhaven.
Depending on your accommodation, you can reach the North Sea beaches in Burhave and Tossens in around 15–30 minutes.
There is much to discover around Nordenham – for families, nature lovers and active holidaymakers.

- Day trips to Bremerhaven (museum climate house, museum emigration centre, Zoo by the Sea, harbour tours)

A wider selection of shops, chemists and supermarkets awaits you in the town of Nordenham, which is about 10 minutes away.

House rules
Interesting facts about pets, smoking and waste separation.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our holiday homes.
We ask for your understanding – many of our guests place great importance on low-allergen accommodation.
No. All holiday homes are non-smoking accommodations.
Please only smoke outside, where you will also find ashtrays – this ensures a pleasant environment for all guests.
Careful waste separation is important to us – for the sake of the environment and to keep the region clean.
Here is a brief overview of the most important types of waste in Germany:
- Brown bin (organic waste):
Food scraps, fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee and tea filters – anything that is biodegradable. - Blue bin (paper):
Paper, cardboard and paperboard. - Yellow bag (packaging):
Lightweight packaging made of plastic, composite material or aluminium. - Glass recycling bins:
Glass is collected separately in Germany. Public containers can be found in many areas of the city, mostly in supermarket car parks. - Bottle with refundable deposit:
Many bottles purchased in Germany have a deposit of 8 to 25 cent. You will receive the deposit back when you return the bottle to the supermarket. - Black bin (residual waste):
Anything that cannot be recycled.

Yes – sustainability is very important to us. We want you to not only enjoy a relaxing holiday, but also to be able to travel in the most environmentally conscious way possible.
Our holiday homes are powered entirely by green electricity and, where necessary, heated with climate-neutral green gas. Many of the appliances in the house are particularly energy-efficient and help to keep consumption as low as possible.
We also focus on quality and sustainability when it comes to care products:
We use high-quality, environmentally friendly products in refillable dispensers to significantly reduce the use of single-use plastic.
Through regional cooperation, waste separation and continuous improvements, we want to do our part to ensure that the North Sea coast remains a beautiful place – for current and future generations.
We also attach great importance to nature conservation in our outdoor areas: the gardens of our holiday homes are regularly maintained by our team, who deliberately choose species-rich, bee-friendly and regional plants. In this way, we not only create attractive green spaces, but also support local biodiversity.
In addition, we are constantly working to make our holiday homes even more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
